• What is the difference between IMG and IMG Europe?

  A: IMG is the Managing General Underwriter for the international insurance plans sold through the company. IMG is located in Indianapolis, Indiana USA and is also the parent company of IMG Europe Ltd. IMG Europe is located in West Sussex, United Kingdom. IMG Europe is fully authorized and regulated by the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA). For more information on both companies, click on the following links.

• How do I apply for IMG products?

  A: For international medical insurance plans offered through IMG, simply go to www.imglobal.com and click on "Quote / Purchase Medical Insurance." You will be easily directed through the quote/purchasing feature.

  These plans are offered by the parent company of IMG Europe, IMG, and is not FSA regulated.

• How do I become an intermediary?

  A: To become an intermediary with IMG or IMG Europe, you must be approved or licensed to sell health insurance in your respective country. If you are an intermediary, you may contract with IMG Europe online at the following link: New Producer Contracting.

• Who is your underwriting partner?

• Are you regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA)?

  A: IMG Europe Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority(FSA) in the United Kingdom.

• How is IMG affected by Brexit?

  IMG has entered into a 'reverse branch' agreement with London Global srl., an Italian company regulated and based in Italy, with a branch in the UK. As a result of this agreement, London Global have oversight of IMG Europe's operation and some of IMG Europe's staff have been seconded to London Global. Post Brexit, this agreement allows IMG Europe to continue to offer its products in the UK and in EU member countries and where those products are sold by intermediaries (where those brokers have the relevant permissions to operate). Day-to-day operations are unaffected, the products will still work in the same way , you will still deal with the same friendly and efficient team . Products will continue to be underwritten by Sirius.
